We completed a comprehensive industrial overhaul of a Bosch-Rexroth GPV 442 (60 Hz) gearbox, a specialized unit utilized in Vestas V90 1.8 MW wind turbines operating on 60 Hz power grids. To ensure maximum uptime for the operator, Wikov maintains a dedicated exchange pool for this model, allowing for an immediate swap of a fully restored unit.

The service process began with a rigorous teardown and technical assessment. Based on the defects identified during the inspection, our engineering team performed a full internal overhaul, including the replacement of critical bearings and several gear stages to restore the unit to original mechanical specifications. We enhanced the gearbox with a new off-line filtration system, a new lubrication block, and a new electrical oil pump, ensuring superior oil quality during operation. Following a certified load test to verify performance under real-world conditions, the gearbox was professionally painted and delivered in a plug-and-play condition, ready for immediate nacelle installation without additional on-site adjustments.
