Fully refurbished Allen Gears ASG size 32 gearbox

Efficient gearbox, usually coupled with Siemens SGT-200 and SGT-300 gas turbines.

Wikov purchased the gearbox for the purpose of refurbishment and stock supply. After professional disassembly, a visual inspection, thorough cleaning of all components, and non-destructive testing were performed. Since no technical documentation was provided with the gearbox, reverse engineering and calculations had to be carried out to determine the gearing parameters.

The scope of refurbishment included the double helical gear set reconditioning (planet gears, rotating annulus and central pinion), replacement of all bearings and labyrinth seals, manufacturing of new covers, procurement of a new pump, couplings and starter accessories, protective coating, comprehensive on-load testing, and final performance verification.
