Wikov signed Cooperation Agreement with Indian company Premium Transmission

Czech based manufacturer of industrial gearboxes announced signing of Cooperation Agreement with Indian gearbox manufacturer Premium Transmission.

The main objective of this cooperation is selling of Wikov's gearboxes in the Indian market, using Premium's market experience and selling channels and also its manufacturing background. There is also a possibility of assembling the Wikov gearboxes by Premium in India for local projects.

“We believe that this cooperation agreement will help us to extend our business in the Indian market which has its specifics and is difficult to penetrate without local experienced partner. Premium Transmission is one of the biggest Indian gearbox manufacturers with fairly similar product portfolio like Wikov Group, which will help us to sell and assemble our gearboxes for growing local market”. Says Jaromir Hajek, Wikov’s Corporate Sales Director.

“We see big opportunities in the cement and mining industries as well as power industry including renewable sources, particularly wind turbine gearbox business”, says Ashish Gangrade, Export General Manager, Premium Transmission.
