Wikov Gear s.r.o. from Pilsen is now Wikov TurboGear s.r.o.
Dear Business Partners, we would like to inform you about significant changes in our company effective January 1, 2025.
We are pleased to announce that our company Wikov Gear s.r.o. will change its name to Wikov TurboGear s.r.o. This new name perfectly reflects our core business – development, design, and manufacturing of high-speed gearboxes for industrial and energy applications. This change represents a logical step in our long-term strategy to become a global leader in high-speed gear units. All other identification data such as registered seat, identification number or VAT number remain unaffected.
Our second business pillar - repairs and refurbishment of industrial and high-speed gearboxes - will continue to operate under a newly incorporated division named Wikov GearServices within our company structure. We assure you that this reorganization will not affect our business relationships or service quality.
We are also announcing important changes in our executive leadership:
Mr. Radovan Rašpl, our current Technical Director, will assume the position of CEO of Wikov TurboGear s.r.o. effective January 1, 2025
Mr. Michal Kurtinec will become CEO of the entire Wikov Gear division (further information at the end of the announcement) as well as becomes one of the board members of our parent company Wikov Industry a.s.
Mr. Jan Vosátka will become CEO of Wikov GearServices which will be incorporated as of January 1, 2025.
Please note that these organizational changes will not affect our existing business relationships, contracts, or commitments. All current agreements and business arrangements remain valid, effective and unchanged.
In view of the acquisition of Litostroj Power, which became part of Wikov Industry in December 2024, Wikov Industry has been split into two divisions:
The Wikov Hydro division includes Litostroj Power (Slovenia), Litostroj Engineering (Czech Republic), Litostroj Hydro (Canada) and Litostroj US (United States). Mr. Antonín Růžička will become CEO of this division as of January 1, 2025. The Wikov Hydro division focuses on the design, manufacture and maintenance of hydro turbines, reverse pump turbines, valves, pumps and is a supplier of complete turnkey solutions for hydro power plants.
The Wikov Gear division includes Wikov TurboGear (formerly Wikov Gear s.r.o.), Wikov MGI, Wikov Sázavan, GGT GMEINDER GETRIEBETECHNIK, Detail CZ, Pacific Rim Engineered Products, Wikov Gear Canada, Wikov - Wessex, Wikov Indigear and Orbital2. As of January 1, 2025, Mr. Michal Kurtinec will become CEO of Wikov Gear. The main focus of this division remains the development, production, assembly and service of mechanical gearboxes and precision CNC machining.
